Life In a House of Testosterone

I get such an absolute KICK out of being able to bring you - my readers - all of these awesome giveaways each week. I am truly, truly blessed to belong to several different groups of fabulous bloggers who put these giveaways together to share with everyone’s readers.

Unfortunately, being the giveaway princess and scouring the internet for awesome deals to bring to you - I often come across giveaways that I want to enter as well. I bookmark them in my Pocket or subscribe to the particular blog with Feedly, and ‘plan’ to come back later that evening and enter the giveaways that I found interesting as well. Later that evening turns into the next day, then three days later, then the following week, and by the time I actually do have the time to sit down and enter some giveaways for myself - I’ve missed out on some, if not all, of the giveaways.

So imagine my complete and utter shock when this morning I opened my email to see this:

I popped that email open so fast it made my computer spin! I won the new novel from G.E. Butler entitled Soul’d Out. I’m a professed (and proud) geek when it comes to reading and technology. I’ve been reading books ever since I was a small child and love it when a book grabs me and sucks me in to the storyline and transports me to a place I’ve never been. So when I read the description of Soul’d Out, “a twenty-something singer, famous since childhood, finds herself on the verge of superstardom, where she discovers the ghastly price exacted for worldwide fame, the truth of her origins, and the sick secrets of the entertainment industry.” That had me hooked, right then and there!
